What is Turmeric? Turmeric is an herbal seasoning often added to recipes for the golden color it gives to food. The turmeric plant has a long history of medicinal use as well, and has been used to ease heartburn and stomach ulcers. Some studies suggest that turmeric has components that may reduce some of the symptoms associated with dry, allergic skin.

In Malaysia, turmeric is famously known as kunyit, and usually used in indian's cooking. the benefits of turmeric will be explained below.



Many study has done to find the connection between turmeric and cancer.  They reveal that turmeric can induce a process that triggers the self-destruction of cancerous and damaged body cells. Turmeric is effective in treating cancer since it increases liver function. The liver helps to eliminate toxic substances from your body.
