Most of us associate dieting with skipping of meals. this is actually will cause our body to increase the body fat as the body is thinking that we are currently under starvation and extra fat and carbohydrate will be stored in the body in order to endure the next skipped meal.
Therefore, the best way to diet is by eating at regular time interval and by consuming small amount of food at one time. we should also exercise regularly to increase body metabolisme and increase the burning rate of the fat.
Whenever we are going to eat, we should fill our plate based on following picture.
50% of the plate should consist of fruits and vegetables. The next 25% should be protein such as fish, chicken or meat, and the remainder 25% should be the grains, that is the rice.
Vegetable is a great source of vitamin and mineral, and comes with low calories and fat. vegetables also has high satiety index, in which u will feel fullness after consuming vegetables, compared to same amount of rice. When you feel full faster, you will have less desire to eat more. by using this method, you can reduce calories intake without compromising ur meal intake.
